So far we had discussed on the oldest to attend an anime/cosplay convention, and the oldest cosplayer. Now it’s time find out about the oldest cosplayer on any stage show (eg. masquarade, skit contest, cosplay chess, etc.).

I don’t have a direct answer to your question, but you seem obsessed with the age of older cosplayers. There is no age limit to cosplaying. If anyone believes there is, that is their personal problem. I’ve seen cosplayers in their 80’s and I hope I still have the guts to cosplay when I’m that age. I’ve been an anime fan since I was a young child, but I started cosplaying very late in life as there were no anime cons where I used to reside. It wasn’t until I moved to a larger city about 6 years ago that I attended my first con and became very interested in the costumed fans. The following year I decided to try cosplay for myself and now I’m hooked! If I didn’t cosplay, I wouldn’t bother attending anime cons at all. If you’re over 30, 40, 50 or whatever and you really want to try cosplay, just do it! You won’t regret it.
